IG-88 was a bounty hunter droid
from the Empire Strikes Back. His initials have been included in my artwork as a joke in the past.
Immorality is a character that
was created to be a foil to Morality for whom Logic was not polar enough
of an opponent. There was also a need for Immorality as the issue of
drinking became more central of an issue in my work. Immorality is based
on Pete Pxxxxxxi because of his own depravity as well as his unique
looking glass relationship with Jed Gxxxxr upon whom Morality was based.
Morality is shown wearing white robes which, are meant to hide his nature,
and they have a slightly Asian influence because of Pete's interest in
Eastern culture.
Initials are used to refer to
specific ideas, people or codes. They are meant to be signal a
relationship or identity and sometimes they are used to obscure the
meaning of something that I am too modest to say. Some examples of my use
of initials in my art include: LM on the Red Heart means "Love
Megan", JC on the Devil's shoulder is because the character is based
on Jenny Cxxxxxm, W on Apathy's belt buckle stands for
"Whatever".
